Aehr Test Systems Reports Record Q1 Revenue and Raises Fiscal 2027 Outlook

Aehr Test Systems reported a staggering $33 million in Q1 revenue, a 200% increase from the previous year. This success has driven investor confidence to new heights, with the stock jumping over 10% overnight.

The company's fiscal 2027 revenue outlook has also been raised to $150 million, up from the previously estimated range of $130 million to $150 million. This projected revenue represents a monumental 200% increase from fiscal 2026.

CEO Gayn Erickson highlighted the significant achievements during the Q1 earnings call, noting the 200% year-over-year revenue growth and 75% quarter-over-quarter increase. The company's effective backlog stands at $109.3 million, with strong orders and an improved outlook for future business.

Erickson attributed the growth to the continued demand for Aehr's wafer-level burn-in (WLBI) solutions, specifically mentioning a $22 million follow-on order from a leading AI processor customer. The need for comprehensive test and burn-in systems is on the rise as devices become more advanced, providing a growing market for Aehr's solutions.

Retail sentiment on Stocktwits has shifted to 'bullish', with investors anticipating further growth. One user noted, "This was a very healthy earnings report... there are shorts out there I'd expect to close out their positions over the coming days."
